eProsima will be present again at the ROS Developers Day. The event on its 4th edition will take place on the 19th of June, 2021 and is a virtual conference that aims to connect ROS developers worldwide.
The conference, hosted by The Construct, is a hands-on event in which all presentations are practical demos that provide coding examples and simulations. Attendees will have the chance to practice the ROS projects shown in the demos in real-time with the speakers.
eProsima will present “Zero Copy Transport with Fast DDS”, a hands-on talk that will be delivered by Iker Luengo, Senior Software Engineer for Fast DDS. During the presentation the attendees will learn about all the different inter-process communication mechanisms (IPC) that Fast DDS offers (Shared Memory Transport, data sharing, Zero-Copy transport), how to configure them, and how to design robotics applications that take full advantage of the tremendous middleware's performance capabilities.
The conference will also count with other first class speakers from leading companies of the ROS and Open Robotics ecosystem such as Canonical, Samsung and Husarnet & Husarion among others.
