eProsima is proud to announce the launch of Fast DDS v2.11.0! We are thrilled to share this exciting news of eProsima's latest milestone, an upgraded version that brings many new and enhanced features, such as the possibility of ignoring every local endpoint and more available XML members of WireProtocolConfigQos, together with continuous integration improvements, and bug fixes.
Key highlights of the Fast DDS v2.11.0 release include:
NEW FEATURES ADDED
- Ignore local endpoints: users can now conveniently ignore every local endpoint, providing more flexibility and control over the communication setup.
- TypeLookup Service Configuration: this version introduces additional XML members to the WireProtocolConfigQos, empowering users with extended configuration options for enhanced performance and customization.
- Extend DynamicDataHelper API
- Static Discovery XSD Schema: this feature empowers users with enhanced customization capabilities by allowing them to configure the Discovery using an XSD Schema.
IMPROVEMENTS
- Export symbols correctly on ContentFilteredTopic.
- Security module: distinguished names (DN) comparison.
- CI improvement: Support for running tests in parallel.
- New examples:
- Admit XML configuration files in AdvanceConfigurationExample.
- New Discovery Server example
