eProsima is happy to present the Python bindings for Fast DDS. Now developers can access all functionalities of the Fast DDS Cpp Library from Python.
Users can dive into the Getting started instructions of the new Fast DDS Python to find examples (e.g. Helloworld) for the Python bindings and a complete tutorial for generating the type support.
With the Fast DDS Python wrapper, developers can make full use of Fast DDS features such as shared memory, data sharing or QoS modification, taking advantage of the strengths of both languages, Python and Cpp.
The Python Bindings is a feature that the Fast DDS community has been asking for, and provides a direct connection to all applications developed in Python, the most popular programming language, to the DDS world.
