eProsima is proud to announce the quality level Q2 for Fast DDS.
Open Robotics is the organisation behind ROS and ROS 2. In December 2019 they launched the idea to categorize the quality and maturity of packages in the ROS ecosystem which was finally executed during the summer of 2020.
ROS established five quality levels in order to guarantee user friendly contributions within the ecosystem. Q1 represents the highest level of quality whilst Q5 stands for the lowest level possible.
The system measures different characteristics, like versioning, change control, documentation, testing, dependencies, platform support and security.
