New DDS Router Version with X-Types Refactor for Enhanced Type Propagation

eProsima is excited to announce the latest version of the DDS Router, delivering significant improvements and new features designed to streamline communication and boost performance in distributed systems.

Key Highlights of the New Release

1. Type Discovery Propagation
   The new release enhances the DDS Router by enabling the propagation of type discovery information to all communication elements. This feature is made possible by a refined DDS XTypes implementation, ensuring seamless communication across systems.
2. Support for Fast DDS v3
   The DDS Router now supports Fast DDS version 3, aligning it with the latest advancements in DDS middleware technology.
3. Configuration Enhancements
   • Removed the publish-type tag from the Monitor configuration.
   • Removed Discovery Server Connection Address for streamlined setup.
4. Bug Fixes
   • Resolved an issue with resetting cache changes before returning them to the pool, ensuring smoother operations.
5. Updated Default Settings
   • The default value for the Log Filter Argument is now set to DDS ROUTER.
   • The default value for the Log Verbosity Argument has been adjusted to error, simplifying diagnostics.
6. CI Improvements
   The release also includes Continuous Integration (CI) process updates, improving development workflows and building reliability.
