The Rey Juan Carlos University, world-renowned for their internationally projected scientific research, and eProsima agree on a new partnership that shall enter into force by the end of 2020 for a period of 4 years at least.
Partnership Goals
This agreement is aimed at:
- Participating jointly in consortia relating to both national and international projects.
- Boosting jointly research projects in the field of Robotics.
- Offering internships to URJC students.
- Promoting industrial doctoral programs.
About eProsima’s Research and Development
eProsima is a quality certified company focused on networking middleware with special attention to the OMG standard called Data Distribution Service for Real-time systems (DDS) and it is present mainly in three sectors: Robotics, Critical Applications and IoT.
ePRosima participates on a regular basis in joint research and development projects with both companies and universities, including:
- The coordination of the OFERA project to create micro-ROS robotic frameworks.
- The development of eProsima nano RTPS/Micro XRCE-DDS.
- The coordination of ALMA, an EU-funded project to leverage AML properties to develop a new generation of interactive, human-centric machine learning systems.
