eProsima sponsors, side by side with Microsoft, iRobot, Toyota and other important companies, this year's ROSCON 2019 (October 31st - November 1st, 2019), supporting the ROS community.
eProsima Fast RTPS has been adopted by ROS (Robot Operating System) as their default middleware.
Fast RTPS is Open Source and we follow an open development process, allowing the ROS community to participate and drive our roadmap.
About ROS & ROSCON:
The Robot Operating System (ROS) is a flexible framework for writing robot software. It is a collection of tools, libraries, and conventions that aim to simplify the task of creating complex and robust robot behavior across a wide variety of robotic platforms.
ROSCon 2019 is a chance for ROS developers of all levels, beginner to expert, to spend an extraordinary two days learning from and networking with the ROS community. Get tips and tricks from experts and meet and share ideas with fellow developers.

eProsima Fast RTPS is the default middleware for ROS 2, the latest release of ROS, a high performance and fully open source middleware with a set of features oriented to provide full support to the ROS 2 requisites.
