eProsima is happy to announce its Premium Membership at the Autoware Foundation.
The Autoware Foundation is a non-profit organization encouraging the development of open-source projects in the autonomous driving market.
Together with members like Tier IV, NXP, KALRAY, Hexagon, Intel, Open Robotics and others, eProsima will influence the future of self-driving vehicles and especially support the autoware.auto software stack which is based on the Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard. More specifically, we will concentrate our efforts on Autoware Low latency/High throughput scenarios and Autoware Real-Time & Safety behavior
eProsima is a SME company focused on networking middleware with special attention to exactly this DDS standard of the OMG (Object Management Group). The company’s dds middleware solutions find major interest in the robotic, automotive and IoT sector, being Fast DDS the default middleware implementations for ROS 2 (Robot Operating System), used by the Autoware Foundation and other critical applications.
